It does only Enchant forests, which comes up sometimes, but this is still a pretty great way to get a mana advantage early

Its way easier to put graveyard hate in your 75 cards than piles of Doom Blades, and for that hate to be good against Regent it needs to be efficient, hit a bunch of cards, and importantly have fair value

Adding in the effect that allows you to Special Summon this card using Monsters from your hand moves it into tyrannical territory

Obviously I have nitpicks with individual cards -- I've been yelling about Temple of the False God only being good in decks that reliably land ramp and it's especially bad in decks with lots of color pip requirements -- but these are just nitpicks

Meanwhile, the Black Star promo is much more affordable at around $61
